MGM DESIGN SERVICES INC. was established in 1998 to fill the need for a cost-effective, quality-oriented design company in the Windsor/Detroit area.

MGM DESIGN SERVICES is big enough to get the job done, but small enough to care about each and every line that goes on a drawing.

As a mechanical designer with over 30 years experience, owner Mike Malenfant has been working with SolidWorks software since 2004.

Malenfant received Mechanical Drafting Journeyman Papers and graduated from St. Clair College in 1987. Since then he’s worked as a draftsman with Arvid Machine Tools/EX-CELL-O Canada Ltd. for 10 years and was a senior designer/project manager with Adesco for 5 years.

Malenfant is highly skilled in Micro Cadam, Autocad and SolidWorks.

Whether you need a “re-design” of a existing machine, or a “cutting-edge technology” design on a new project,  MGM DESIGN has a fully computerized drafting service tailor-made to meet the requirements of today’s manufacturing facilities.

For customers with multiple machines, with different “replaceable parts”, standardization can be done to document and minimize the number of “replaceable parts.”
We offer a whole list of other services, including: checking, consulting, design, detailing, project engineering, project management, re-draw on CAD, simultaneous engineering, and time studies.
